Another scene from Galena, and one of my favorites from this year. The railroad runs parallel to the Galena River and was part of the old Illinois Central Railway. The set of buildings must have been abandoned at least 50 years ago, but still seems pretty sturdy. I loved the warm light shining in and the deep blue shadows in the snow that were cast.
